We’re introducing Norwegian leather – a quality choice

Did you know Norwegian cattle produce some of the finest leather in the world?

Good animal welfare, small-scale farming and a ban on barbed wire fencing give large, beautiful hides – sought after by leading brands in furniture, fashion and the automotive industry.

We now offer Elmo Nordic from Norwegian cattle across our entire furniture collection – an exclusive furniture leather, supplied by Elmo Leather. Each hide can be traced back to the cattle’s farm of origin.

The hard-wearing semi-aniline leather has a natural, soft surface and develops a beautiful patina over time.

The Ada chair series in three select colours

To mark the launch of Norwegian leather, we’re offering Ada in Elmo Nordic at a special introductory price through the end of the year, available in three timeless colours: Cognac, Brown and Black.

Like all our furniture, Ada is made at our own factory in Sykkylven, on Sunnmøre in Norway.

 

A bestseller for the workplace

Ada was designed by Jonas Stokke in 2021, and has quickly become one of our most popular chairs for the contract market. The series combines high seating comfort with a flexible system of seven seat options and five base options, suited to everything from meeting rooms and canteens to the home office.

 

Built to last

The chair series is designed with longevity in mind. With removable covers, replaceable components and a universal fitting between seat and base, the chair can easily be reupholstered, repaired and adapted to new needs.

A new, polished look

We have more news for Ada: introducing the 4-leg base in polished steel – a light, sophisticated look that makes the chair just as at home around the dining table as in the canteen. Wherever you place it, you’ll want to stay seated for hours.

Steel joins the existing matte black finish.
