“We originally designed Mio to complement LK Hjelle’s Ami sofa program; however, as the family of occasional tables developed, they immediately took on a life of their own. Featuring a lapped steel framework that supports two circular planes, Mio simultaneously references modernist architecture with its daring cantilevers and the primitive legibility of Enzo Mari’s Autoprogettazione. Additionally, Mio comes flat packed and is assembled in minutes with just a few screws.”
