Siesta and Falcon chairs find their place in an iconic Oslo landmark

We are proud to have contributed to one of Oslo’s most iconic and ambitious restoration projects — Hotel Sommerro. Designed by LPO Arkitekter and developed in close collaboration with city heritage authorities, the transformation of the historic Oslo Lysverker building into a vibrant hotel and cultural house.

Originally built between 1917 and 1930, this architectural gem merges neoclassical elegance with functionalist aesthetics, and has now been carefully preserved and reimagined into a 231-room hotel featuring restaurants, bars, meeting spaces, and a bathhouse and spa.
